Privacy Policy
Last Updated: August 25, 2026
1. Introduction
CyberShield Studio ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy will inform you as to how we look after your personal data when you visit our website (regardless of where you visit it from) and tell you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect, use, store and transfer different kinds of personal data about you which we have grouped together follows:
- Search Data: Includes information about the websites or IP addresses you request us to scan.
- Contact Data: Includes email address and telephone numbers provided when requesting services.
- Technical Data: Includes internet protocol (IP) address, your login data, browser type and version, time zone setting and location, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform and other technology on the devices you use to access this website.
- Usage Data: Includes information about how you use our website and services.
3. Website Measurement Without Cookies
We count visits to this website using first-party requests to our own server. This measurement sets no cookie, writes nothing to your browser's storage, and does not create any identifier that persists between visits. It runs whether or not you accept the cookie banner, and it is separate from the analytics tools described below, which stay switched off until you accept.
For each page request we record: the page requested, the domain name (but not the address) of any site that referred you, any campaign tag in the link you followed, your browser type, and whether you are on a mobile or desktop device.
Your IP address is used only to estimate whether two page requests came from the same network and browser on the same day. It is combined with a random value that we generate fresh every day, converted into a one-way code, and then discarded. We do not store your IP address as part of this measurement. The live random-value record is scheduled for automatic deletion after 48 hours. Historical database backups may retain an earlier database state for the backup's configured retention period; they are not used for analytics queries.
Anonymous pageview results are used only as aggregate counts — how many visits a page received, which links bring traffic here — to help us decide what to write and where to spend our effort. This data is not shared with, or sent to, any third party, and it is not used for advertising or profiling. Records are deleted automatically after 400 days.
When you use an authenticated product, we may also record small service events such as account creation, domain verification, plan selection, monitoring activation, and scan completion. Those events may carry your internal account identifier so we can measure whether the service workflow completed; they do not attach your account identity to the anonymous pageview record. They share the same 400-day event-retention limit.
Our lawful basis for this measurement is legitimate interests: understanding whether our website works, in a way designed from the outset to collect the least data capable of answering that question. You can object to this processing at any time using the contact details below.
4. How We Use Your Data
We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we will use your personal data in the following circumstances:
- Where we need to perform the contract we are about to enter into or have entered into with you (such as performing a vulnerability scan).
- Where it is necessary for our legitimate interests (or those of a third party) and your interests and fundamental rights do not override those interests.
- Where we need to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation.
- To verify ownership of domains or assets before scanning to ensure authorization.
5. Data Security
We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorized way, altered or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know. They will only process your personal data on our instructions and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality.
Scan Reports: Vulnerability scan reports generated for your business are treated as highly confidential and are shared only with the verified requestor.
6. Third-Party Links
This website may include links to third-party websites, plug-ins and applications. Clicking on those links or enabling those connections may allow third parties to collect or share data about you. We do not control these third-party websites and are not responsible for their privacy statements.
